Where did you ride your bike today?

Let's make this a big thread! Reply any day you rode your bike and tell us where you rode at!

You don't have to give an exact location, but you can tell us about the route, the distance, and all that.

Enjoyed a gravel ride on the Tunnel Hill State Trail today. Around 19ish miles. Got a few PRs.

Rode 20 miles yesterday with the CRCC Bike Club out of Paducah, Kentucky.

Hope to be riding with them every Monday!

I rode for 1 hour in the morning before going to work. It was like a routine workout for me. I was able to cover 15 miles at 12 mph.

Nice.

I was going to get in a run yesterday but storms stopped me.

Hoping to do a 10K run today.

Yesterday was a bit choked up for me. I went out very early in the morning to help out with the preparation of wake keep for my friend who died of kidney failure. We had all night keep for her, she's going to be buried on Saturday.

I hope you get your 10km run later today.

I got a 5K in. It was really hot. I'm still feeling a little sickly from the heat. I probably pushed harder than I should have.

Sorry about your buddy. Always sucks to lose people we love.

It's why I hate doing so much in the heat, it never ends well for me. You need time to recover.

Seriously man, it hurts and sucks at the same time. She was buried successfully yesterday. At least, her soul will rest in peace now.

That's what I was able to cover walking throughout yesterday going through her burial session and coming back home.

Rode the day before yesterday.

Good ride but it was very humid. Felt like 105-F or 40-C.
This is very good. You wrapped up this one well under your belt even with the humid weather, you did a very good job.

I just got back from a business shopping not long ago, it was a long day. I'll rest tomorrow and ride the following day if the weather is nice.

I wasn't able to go for a ride this morning according to my plan because of a protest that happened this morning against the killings happening in one of the states here. Our government isn't doing much about it which was the reason for the protest.

I've been dealing with a pretty gnarly sinus infection. Smoke from Canadian wildfires is reaching us as well and that's making it worse. No biking for me.

I saw that on the news, it was very serious. Do take very good care of your health. Biking can wait until you get better and it's safe to ride again.

Yeah and then on top of that, I lose my dad and couldn't even grieve sleep because the coughing kept me awake all night.

My condolences mate. I'm so sorry for your loss. Has he been buried yet?

About your health, I hope you're feeling better now?

I'm better now. It was a sinus thing associated with the smoke from Canadian wildfires.

He didn't have a life insurance policy. He had plenty of money, but he didn't have that. So, I had to pay for it, and I don't make money for a full coffin and plot, so he got cremated.

That's one of those, if you want the full service, then get the insurance and pay for it otherwise you get what you get.

I'm so glad you're better now from the infection because it can be a nasty one.

Your dad didn't have a good financial advisor or he probably didn't listen when told to get life insurance. You've done your part and I'm very sure he will appreciate it. Cremation isn't that bad either.
