Here's the 500+ foot tunnel at Tunnel Hill State Trail in Tunnel Hill, Illinois. It's a cycling and pedestrian rail trail. Many choose to hike it. I prefer to bike it.

Katy Trail from Clinton to Jeff City, 174 miles. This tunnel is east of Boonville. Did this with the boy scouts in three days.

Hagerman tunnel near Leadville Colorado. 2,100 long tunnel, built in the late 1,800's. its a 7 mile out and back trail, also passes through a ghost town.
Did this trail about 10 years ago in June. Still full of ice and snow.
