Hiking Clubs

Are any of you involved in local hiking clubs?

Where I live, in Southern Illinois, we have a few different hiking clubs. They're free and it's where people get together to hike as a group. Many people don't want to do it alone and they want to meet other hikers, so clubs help out with that.

Are any of you a part of a hiking club where you're from? How often do you get out with them?

Are any of you a part of a hiking club where you're from? How often do you get out with them?

I've been doing group hikes with the hikers of the Hoosier's Hidden Hikes FB group, we hike once or twice a year. I don't love group hikes, but these are always a good time.

I like group hikes if it's with the right group.

Usually, groups of known friends is the right group. It's often hard to hike with strangers.

The Hoosier's Hidden Hikers are a great group! It's been a lot of fun hiking with them.
