Do any of you watch hiking videos online like on YouTube?

If so, what's your favorite type of hiking videos to watch?

I really enjoy long no-talking ASMR-type hiking videos especially when they backpack overnight.

Something about them!

How about you all? What type of hiking videos are you watching online?

I generally like your Hiking With Shawn YT videos as well as other people who do a similar style. I pretty much like the narration and tips/things to look for. A few moments of silence at a beautiful overlook or even music that matches the mood are fine too. I'm not sure I want a completely narration-free hiking video, though. Maybe if it was something dramatic like waterfalls or drone footage with background music.

SUV RVing got me started with YT hiking videos. I also watch almost everything from Topo Traveler, Jupiter Hikes, Codiac Studios, Marks of Curiosity, Sloans Wilderness, POV Channel, Karl Decker, and Hiking with Shawn.

The guys out west I mostly watch because I love the landscape out west, and the videos are the next best thing to visiting.

The more local channels (southern Illinois) I watch more for ideas and tips of places to visit.

ASMR type videos are fine occasionally, but I typically prefer some commentary. Not too much though, there is definitely a balance to strike there.
