What’s your biggest cycling weakness?

For me, it’s going downhill. I’m the type that rides the brakes because I fear going to too fast and wrecking.

How about you all? What’s your biggest cycling weakness?

Cornering is one of my biggest weakness when it comes to cycling. I used to freeze up on sharp turns if I'm on a high speed which is why I don't speed up too much lately as I fear a wipeout would happen at anytime.

Cornering at speed is definitely one for me.

I'll slow way down before taking a corner. If I'm riding with a group that is better at cornering than I am, that's usually when I lose the group and have to work my butt off to catch back up with them.

Exactly! It's not even advisable cornering at speed with a car with all its balance, imagine how risky it is with bicycle? This is why I don't gamble with it at all for any reason whatsoever.

Yeah. There is definitely a technique. I've seen cyclists lean so much that their shoulders almost touch the ground.
