What do you usually wear when caving and spelunking?

I wear an old pair of hiking pants with tights on under then for extra warmth. I'll wear a base wicking shirt, hoodie, and boots that I only wear caving.

I've considered getting a thinner wetsuit and just wearing it.

A wetsuit is really hot, I only wear on if it's a cave where I'll be swimming most of the time. If it's going to be a lot of wading, I have polypropylene underwear. It really depends on the amount of water you'll be going through, and how far under it you'll have to go. I did a cave with a 200' long 5" airspace, i wore a wetsuit for that!

Then, I'll skip the wetsuit.

I don't want to be hot.

My current clothing does the job. I just get soaked!
