Boots are most important

Many think you should spend more on boots than anything else when it comes to hiking.

For most people, boots are the number one piece of hiking gear that matters the most.

I don't have any hiking boots anymore! I should probably get a new pair, but Ive been comfortable hiking in trail runners. I cave in trail runners too.

I have boots just for caving.

But lately, I've been hiking in trail runners. I love them way more than boots. But come cold winter, I'll have to go back to my waterproof boots, because cold, wet feet in the snow aren't fun at all.
