Fall

Cool temps, and few if any bugs. Is it necessary to mention the colorful display of leaves on deciduous trees?

Last October I hiked for a few days during peak color in the Porcupine Mountains Wilderness State Park, Michigan U.P. The views from the Escarpment Trail high above Lake of the Clouds were gorgeous, as always.

I need to get up to Michigan. It's so close to me.

I love summer but if we can have a true fall with steady cooling temperatures and real fall colors, then that's when I really like fall.

Lately it just seems like we go from hot summer to cold winter with maybe a few days of colors if we don't get a crazy wind storm.
