Wildlife Encounters

I saw a family of moose on my last trip to Colorado, I'm glad I was in a car! We did get out and pictures though

In twenty years I have only seen one bear in the wild and he was running from me - he saw me first. I have seen mountain goats a couple times. I had one wolf pass about 30 yards in front of me on a trail once. Other than that just your normal deer, etc.

The goat would be cool!

On our honeymoon at Cades Cove in August, we saw 16 bears!

I was hiking between Rocky Falls and Klepzig Mill when I encountered the horses. About 6 of them, one was off the side of the others. He took off and the rest followed just tearing through the woods. I have wondered if he might of been the stallion. Didn't even have time to raise my camera for a picture.

I hear you can see them at Echo Bluff a lot, too, because people feed them there.
