Do you have a favorite hiking trail?

I know for some of you, that's like asking who your favorite child is. LOL.

But if you had to choose a favorite trail, what one would you choose?

I think mine is Trail 049 in the Shawnee National Forest. If I start at East Trigg and include 001T into it, I can get 10 miles. I can see bluffs, shelters, a lake, and more, too.

How about you all?

The last one. I'm a big procrastinator sometimes and feel like free time isn't quite as plentiful as before. So just getting out there is my favorite one.

I think the River to River trail in Illinois is my favorite trail, it connects to a really great trail system!

But a lot of folks do miss a lot of great side trails and other trails not around the R2R. But it's definitely a good start. I just wish they could get more of the trail away from the roads.

Everest Base Camp is my favorite trekking destination. It is 11 days trek from Kathmandu, the capital city of Kathmandu, and it is 3-4 days trek form Lukla, the nearest airport. You will get to see Everest, the world tallest mountain.

The airport there is kind of sketchy right?

I'd love to do it one of these days.
