Hardest this year was black mountain Arizona. Tough because 1,200 elevation gain in a mile. Very rocky and loose gravel Straight up

Hardest hike this year was the Arapaho Traverse in Colorado. It was a classic class 3 traverse, the hardest move was class 4.

Yikes! That's some gain for just a mile!!

Class 3 means don't fall, Class 4 means there's some rock climbing and don't fall! Class 5 means stay away.
