I work in the surveillance industry. I typically maintain a surveillance system and cold room environment. I also conduct surveillance investigations and detect criminal activity with it.

How about you all?

Recently retired but ran my own business, retail home design center and remodeling. For 20 years it allowed me to take a week a month and go play.
That's the way to go!

If I ever get to where I can retire, I'll want to do some side gigs. I love writing so being an outdoor/travel writer would be something I'd love to do. I can do that now and get paid fairly well. However, with the rise of AI, it can threaten that particular sort of gig. I'm trying to get better at video as a potential replacement.

You will do well no matter what direction you.

I still spend two-three nights a week and a couple Saturdays a month working with youth and church work. I would be in the woods even more otherwise 😢

Of course, that's a good thing to do :)
