Howdy everyone,
I'm happy to announce some updates to the forum.
1. I created a section called Other Outdoor Recreation and that is where all the trail running, cycling, spelunking, paddling, equestrian, and off topic topics are at. I added thread prefixes for you all to choose (optional but highly recommended) when creating a topic in that section to show what outdoor activity you are posting about. Using prefixes will make it easier and more organized.
2. I've added prefixes to the Hiking and Backpacking section as well as the Outdoor Gear section. Remember, using these are optional right now but highly recommended.
3. We have a new feature where you can do gear reviews on the forum: https://thehikingforum.com/resources/
4. We have a new feature where you can create Trail Guides on the forum: https://thehikingforum.com/ims/
5. We have a Media feature where you can create albums and upload outdoor photos on: https://thehikingforum.com/media/
I hope you all love these changes. They're all free and available for all members to enjoy. Please help us grow by inviting others to join and by posting more often.
