What are your thoughts on protected bike lanes?

Do you feel we should have more of them? Do you think we should just have better access to the roadways instead?

What do you all think about this topic?

As far as I'm concerned, there's nothing wrong in having a better access to the roadways as it creates more room to ride freely but it should always be at the back of our minds about the risks of accidents with cars as well as having road rage all the time.

Having more protected bike lanes solves this problem to a greater extent which is why I'm fully in support of it.

Gas is getting more and more expensive.

Cycling is a great alternative to commuting, and it keeps people working.

I think not having cycling lane infrastructure is asking for economic problems.

Gas and petrol is very expensive all over the world. Even though we are oil producing country, gas/petrol are not affordable for most people. It makes transportation very costly.

How much is gas and petrol sold in your area now?

In my state it's around $3.70 a gallon but I go into the next state which is 20 minutes away and get it for $1.00 cheaper most of the time.
