If so, what hike did you do on the last day of 2023? How about the first day of 2024?

I think I hiked Arrowhead Arch around th HNF on New Year's Eve and Rim Rock in SNF on New Year's Day.

December 31, 2023: Bald Knob Wilderness hike 8.7 miles 904' elevation

January 1, 2023: Hurricane Bluff area hike 5.9 miles 880' elevation

The next day, I rested lol

Last hike 2023; The Lighthouse trail, 5.8 miles, Palo Duro Canyon SP, Texas

First hike 2023; Palo Duro Cave trail, 2.8 miles, Palo Duro Canyon SP, Texas

Always try to schedule a trip after Christmas and typically over the 1st. Typically head south or southwest

I always do a first day of the year hike. If any of you want to join, let me know. It's somewhere in the Shawnee. I've not decided where it will be on January 1st yet tho.

WE can definitely get together for a hike at some point. I don't plan on quitting anytime soon
