How technical will get when mountain biking?

Myself, I don't want to get too technical because I don't want to wreck and hurt myself. Stuff takes longer to heal when you're in your 40s!

I do ride technical trails, but I'll get off the bike and push in the really technical parts if I feel uncomfortable riding on them. I stay away from the big downhill trails as I am not into downhill mountain biking.

What about you all? How technical do you get on your mountain bike?
