How do you prefer to sleep when backpacking?

Hammock first choice, first choice for compfort, generally less weight to pack, ease of setup

Tent for me - I can't sleep in the open air unless it's light out.

I tried a hammock and enjoyed it. I need to use one of them more. I just like to sleep on my side so it's a bit different.

Not being able to sleep on your side seems to be the most common complaint with hammocks. But I can sleep on my side or any other position. Most people string them to tight. That might be the reason, give it another try.

Yeah. I need to try it again. Hammocks are so much light than tents!
