Do any of you ever experience pain when hiking?

If yes, where at? How do you deal with it? Will it eventually slow you down?

Well to date at 68 I have not experienced any pain yet. The boy scouts say their is the old guys and then the young guys and then their's Doug!

That's a good thing.

What's your secret???

I suppose first good genes. Most important is just keep moving. Its a bad year if I hike less than 800 miles a year. By best was about 1,400.

I just did an adventure park high rope course this last summer with the boys and other leaders in their 30's. I sailed through it and half the leaders were to intimidated or to pooped to finish. Just do it!
