Food leftovers and Leave No Trace

Some people say apple cores, banana pills, and stuff like that should be carried out when hiking.

How do you feel about this Leave No Trace idea? For it or against it? Feel free to elaborate.

Yeah, people should carry out all their trash. I guess they coild bury organic waste and that would be OK, but same rules as a #2

I think that's fair versus leaving it on the ground or tossing it.
