First hike of 2025?

What was your first hike of 2025?

Mine was "the promise land" at One Horse Gap. I led a 13-person group hike on January 1st

Today my dad and I hiked 5 miles at Silver Lake in Highland Il. Couldn't convince my wife or kids to come along, too cold for them.

I'd like to make one of your group hikes sometime, Shawn. Maybe one will work out logistically for me this year.

Saalman Hollow was my 1st hike this year, 6 miles through 3 beautiful ravines. This was a "Hoosier Hidden group hike", they're a lot of fun!

Very possible this year. I plan to do a few more group hikes as it gets warmer.
