Do you keep a hiking journal?

Some hikers and backpackers keep a hiking journal to write in.

Some will write about their hike or things they see or things they want to check into or a little of everything.

Do you keep one? If so, what do you write in it?

My journal is just pictorial. I record trail name, location, miles and year, then pics.

Pedestal Rocks trail, Arkansas. 2.5 miles. Did first time in 2014, then 15, 17, & 21. Revisiting a trail while taking others is like visiting an old friend.

I guess my journal is mainly with pictures and of course video.

I do blog about my hikes, as well.
