Chamois Thickness

I know riders who prefer a very thick and large chamois in their cycling shorts.

I know others who want a medium-sized sized and some who want a thin pad.

I even know folks who don't like chamois at all.

Where are you at in this conversation? What chamois thickness do you prefer and why?
