What are your thoughts on bike lanes?

Some riders feel that a bike lane takes away from the rights of a cyclist. They feel like cyclist should use the road like regular vehicles do. However, others feel that lanes provide some protection that cyclist often need.

What are your opinions on bike lanes?

Safety is very important as far as I'm concerned and that's why bike lanes are something I would support 100% because it's when you're alive and in good health that you can come out and ride tomorrow. Yeah, it's permitted to ride on a regular road but know the risks.
