How do you feel about the dedicated bike lane versus sharing the road with other users when it comes to road biking?
In many areas where cycling infrastructure exists, dedicated bike lanes are created for cyclists to use. This helps to keep riders safe as well as decrease obstacles for motor vehicle drivers.
However, not all road cyclists are behind bike lanes. Some feel that it takes away our rights on the road and that we should be able to use the just as much as a vehicle driver can.
What are your thoughts on this issue? Where do you stand on it?
