Excellent. Rocky but well developed path. A lot of elevation gain.
Big Bend 37 mile outer loop is a premiere one night backpack. No water source. We started at 11a on day one and finished at 2p the next. Fabulous hike. At the end of December the weather was a balmy 50 degrees. We stashed water at the half way point.

We followed this the next day Kayaking the Rio Grande and the temps during the day on the river was in the low 30's.
