Last weekend, me and my wife were going to hike an area nearby.
But they must have done a prescription burning there a few days earlier because it was still smoking.
We didn't want to smell it the whole time, so we aborted the hike and had to figure out another place to go.

We have quite a few in our local parks and National Forest. LBL is also a big geocaching area.
It's a fun way to go for a hike when looking for them in nature.
Do any of you participate in geocaching at all?
This past weekend, my wife and I did nearly 7 miles and nearly 1,000' of elevation looking for a cemetery and a couple of intact structures in a remote and rugged area of the Shawnee National Forest. All were off trail.
We found the cemetery but not the structures.
