All Terrain Hiking Boots

I've never had a pair of hiking boots I really liked.
I've found I prefer trail runners. So far the Altra Superior 5's are my favorite (on my 3rd pair), but they don't make them any longer. Bought a pair of Superior 6's, but I haven't put enough miles on them to decide if I like them or not.

I've wondered about trail runners for the warmer months.

But we cross creeks and stuff and I would hate to have wet feet when it's cold outside.

I have a pair of waterproof Lems hiking boots I use in the winter. They're ok, but I only wear them when absolutely necessary.
My wife also has a pair, and she loves them. To each their own I suppose.

I used to not wear waterproof boots, but wet feet when it's really cold is really rough.

I use Oboz Boots now.
