Longest hike in 2025

My longest of 2025 was the Red Cedar Challenge at Giant City, which came in at 12.8 miles.

I bested that on Jan 7, doing 14.6 at Garden of the Gods wilderness area. I hope to top that again later this year, but we will see how it goes.
 
Do the Shawnee Hills Trail Races count as a hike? I was walking most of the time. 😁 I'm going to try to go 100 miles at Shippey Endurance Runs next weekend.
 
I've been considering doing the Shawnee Hills race this year. However, I am far from a distance trail runner. I've done shorter trail runs, 2-3 miles.
I'm more interested in the challenge of hiking/running that far in a single stint.
