What do you enjoy most about being underground?

For me, it's so unique and natural under there.

Most forests are second growth, meaning people had to re-grow them. While still natural, they're not original.

You can't regrow a cave. It's nature, virgin-growth, and wild!
 
The best part of caving is the people that you cave with! This is probably true of hiking and running too, even though they can be done alone.

I prefer to run alone. That way I can do it at my own pace and slow down or stop when I need to without hindering someone else's fitness.
