Surprisingly it is erosion from bad farming practices, every state has their Grand Canyon, this is considered Georgia’s
 
Those are some amazing photos! This definitely looks like a spot I’d like to see for myself! Majestic. I’m in Florida, so it’s actually a possibility.

My wife and I are in Illinois but we go hike in Missouri, Kentucky, and Tennessee all the time. I'm all about checking out the neighbor states.
